Chon Songs Ranked Return of Rock
Chon are a prog "math" rock band, and pretty much just instrumental. This puts me in a weird position, as I'm really not totally sure how to quantify the album. Soundwise it reminds me of a lot of Japanese and video game rock music, which is cool. And it's definitely a vibe. I could see a lot of people putting on the album in the background.

Saw CHON in London, 16 Oct 17. The support was Yvette Young, very talented solo acoustic guitar/singer, but tended to loose timing during the technical sections. CHON were excellent, sound quality was fantastic which can easily ruin a highly technical band like this. The gig was very enjoyable, but too short. They left the stage after 40 minutes.
